Orindawoods comprises 258 estate homes, patio homes and town homes set in quietly clustered neighborhoods. Orindawoods is nestled in a sylvan setting in the City of Orinda in the east San Francisco Bay Area of northern California. More than half of its 187 acres are devoted to open space.

The Orindawoods Tennis Club is a private club owned and operated by the Orindawoods Association. Owners of the 258 residences are members by virtue of ownership. Tennis memberships and swimming memberships also are available for Associate Members who do not live in Orindawoods. Our community also provides its residents with a convenient commute-hours shuttle to Orinda's BART transit station.  Our clubhouse, Woodhall, is available to residents for their social and business functions.

~ Neighborhood News ~
Be on the lookout for theves disguised as utility workers!
From the Orinda Police Chief Nagel: "As you may be aware, many cities in the Bay Area have been victimized by burglars posing as utility workers in order to gain access to their homes. Nefarious individuals will attempt the same ruse in this community, and I want Orinda to be well advised and prepared.
The most recent cases have multiple men and women approaching a residence holding clipboards, wearing reflective vests, driving official looking vehicles with tool attachments in order to catch people off guard. One individual will approach the front door while partners in crime will walk to the back. While speaking to (distracting) the homeowner at the front door, entry is made at the back of the house and items are stolen. Or, the fake utility worker will make up a story insisting the homeowner leave the premises for some "emergency" such as broken water pipes, gas leaks, or a neighbor's house is flooding.
If you have not been advised by a utility company in advance of a visit, or you are asked to leave your home unsecured while they conduct an inspection, please deny access to your house and call the police department. There is nothing wrong with closing and locking the front door while you verify with the utility company of any home inspection.  Be Smart, Be Safe!"
